Mayor Wildes paid “A Tribute to the American Songwriter” at the Bergen Performing Arts Center 's 2008 Spring Gala.  The event honored Myron and Elaine Adler as they received the Humanitarian Award and Ritta & Associates were the recipient of the Founders' Award. The event featured songwriting legends Ben E. King and Felix Cavaliere. The gala was headlined by Paul Anka, a member of Songwriters Hall of Fame and of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
