Mayor Wildes attended the album launch party of "The Ivy Ceiling" in New York City at the Bruno Jamais Club, a venue owned by Englewood resident Bruno Jamais. "The Ivy Ceiling" tracks feature Sting, Russell Simmons, and Roderick & Anisa Romero of Sky Cries Mary.

Mayor Wildes joined Sting at the reception, who is first known as a member of The Police and subsequently as a solo musician artist and spoke to Sting about John Lennon's deportation case that Mayor Wildes' father, Leon Wildes represented as attorney to secure lawful permanent residence for Lennon and Yoko Ono in the U.S.
