Presentation on US Immigration and Nationality Matters at Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes continues his Presentation Tour on US Immigration and Nationality Matters at universities with New York campuses. Mayor Wildes recently spoke at the Pace University Manhattan campus for international students, faculty members and guests covering a wide range of topics including Practical Training, Non-immigrant Visa Options for graduating students including H-1B Visa, filing for permanent residence status on the basis of an offer of employment, and recent developments in the field of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Mayor Wildes specifically
focused on topics which may be of immediate concern to graduating students,
such as Cap Gap Relief for F-1 Students changing status to H-1B, additional
practical training authorization which may be available to students
majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
areas and the unanticipated continued availability of the H-1B visa category,
due to the fact that the H-1B cap has not yet been reached this year.
