Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes hosted a reception at his home honoring venerable Civil Rights Leader and United States Congressman John Lewis of Georgia's 5th District. A member of Congress since 1986, Congressman Lewis joined Dr. Martin Luther King as a prominent figure in the Civil Rights Movement and was a keynote speaker at the famous March on Washington in August 1963. The Congressman spoke of his famed years walking with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the improved relationships between the African American and Jewish communities.
