Members of Congregation Ahavath Torah Celebrated its "Groundbreaking" last Sunday, December 3rd, 2006. The synagogue is the largest Orthodox Jewish Congregation in the State of New Jersey, which Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes and his family are members of. Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm, former President of Yeshiva University, was the Keynote Speaker for the special occasion. Approximately 500 members and guests were present for the "Groundbreaking," including Rep. Steve Rothman and other elected officials.
